Massachusetts College of Liberal 艺术s (MCLA) is accredited by the New England Commission 高等教育(NECHE) — formally New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. 院校委员会 高等教育(NEASC).
MCLA received notification of our reaccreditation by NEASC in April 2014, following a campus visit in November 2013 by a team of NEASC peer reviews. 学院的下一个 comprehensive evaluation will take place in November 2023.

The Massachusetts College of Liberal 艺术s will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit November 5-8, 2023, by a team representing the New England Commission of Higher 教育 (formerly the 院校委员会 of Higher 教育 of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, NEASC).
The New England Commission of Higher 教育 is recognized by the U.S. 部门 of 教育, and accredits over 200 institutions in the six-state New England region and across the United States, as well as American-style institutions overseas. 认证 is voluntary and applies to the institution as a whole.
MCLA and its predecessor institutions have been accredited by the Commission since 1953 and was last reviewed in 2013. Its accreditation by the Commission encompasses 整个机构.
For the past year and a half, MCLA has been engaged in a process of self-study, addressing the Commission’s Standards for 认证. An evaluation team will visit the institution to gather evidence that the self-study is thorough and accurate. 该小组将推荐 to the Commission a continuing status for the institution. 经过审查程序后， the Commission itself will take the final action.

The Commission cannot settle disputes between individuals and institutions, whether those involve faculty, students, administrators, or members of other groups. 评论 will not be treated as confidential and must include the name, address, and telephone number of the person providing the comments.
