MCLA DEI奖

的 MCLA Awards for Leadership in 多样性、股票, and 包容 recognize MCLA faculty, staff, student, and student organization who made outstanding contributions to the campus and community diversity, equity and inclusion efforts during the past 一年. 
 
的 purpose of these awards is to recognize the efforts of faculty, staff, students, student organizations at MCLA who promote diversity, equity and inclusivity on campus in all its forms and who serve as tireless champions of diversity. 我们欢迎自我提名 以及团体提名. 的 DEI Awards Committee will review all completed nomination forms received on or before February 11, 2022. Two recipients will be selected for each award and will be honored at the MCLA DEI Award Ceremony at the end of the semester. 部门奖 for Leadership in 多样性、股票, and 包容 is intended to recognize an academic or administrative department that has been actively engaged in meaningful diversity, equity, and inclusion activities as well as contributed to larger diversity, equity, 以及校园包容性的努力. 
 
员工奖 for Leadership in 多样性、股票, and 包容 is intended to recognize a staff member who made outstanding contributions to MCLA’s equity and inclusion effort in their role at the college and in collaboration with other campus entities during the 去年. 
 
教师奖 for Leadership in 多样性、股票, and 包容 is intended to recognize a faculty who made outstanding contributions to MCLA’s equity and inclusion effort both in instruction and with their service to the college over the past 一年.  
 
的 学生奖 for Leadership in 多样性、公平和包容 is intended to recognize a student 基于以下标准: 

  • the student has demonstrated a long-term commitment to inclusion and diversity at MCLA through a variety of ways, including curricular, co-curricular and in the community
  • the student has played an active mentoring and/or leadership role on campus around 多样性和包容性
  • the student has promoted equity and inclusion in several ways

的 学生组织奖 for Leadership in 多样性、股票, and 包容 is intended to recognize a student organization 基于以下标准: 

  • the organization has played an active mentoring and/or leadership role on campus around 多样性和包容性; 
  • the organization has demonstrated a long-term commitment to inclusion and diversity MCLA的各种形式 
  • the organization is dedicated to equity and inclusion in all its forms 

的 Distinguished Career Achievement Award in 多样性、股票, and 包容 honors a long-time advocate for equity at MCLA. 的 recipient of the Distinguished Career Achievement Award in 多样性、股票, and 包容 will be selected 基于以下标准: has demonstrated a long-term commitment to inclusion and diversity at MCLA through a multiplicity of engagement and across disciplines/programs has played an active mentoring and/or leadership role on campus and has shown a consistent dedication to equity over a significant 期.
